Our goal is that we can teach our high school players how to coach and / or officiate games.  We will have certified referees for our high school games.  For our Developing Dribblers we would like to teach our TTG participants how to referee (maybe even for our elementary school games later in the season).  We would like our high school participants to coach, if they’d like, our middle, elementary and developing dribbler levels.

COVID-19 Guidelines we will use are as follows:

  1. Players and spectators will be screened at the door when we have a screener available.
  2. Spectator seating will be separated at six feet apart.  We will ask to separate the spectators from those who are wearing a mask and those who are not.
  3. There is an option to pay for gate fees online (at a discount). We will accept cash at the door.
  4. Coaches and volunteers will wear a mask.
  5. Coaches will be asked to keep their players on the bench six feet apart.
  6. We ask that spectators bring their own chair to sit in though we will have bleachers and some seating area.
  7. Benches and basketballs will be wiped off in between games and basketballs are cleaned at halftime.
  8. We ask coaches to monitor and limit high fives and offering a hand to help someone off the floor.
  9. Players that substitute out of games will need to sanitize their hands.
  10. Games will be running clock to limit the amount of time that we are playing.
  11. Halftime is one minute.

Please note:

  1. There will be contact as the girls are playing.
  2. There will be times when we have to remind everyone to keep their distance.
  3. We would like to limit contact so please no high fives or fist bumps.

The goal is to limit as much contact and to social distance as much as possible so everyone can be safe and enjoy the games.  Everyone needs to do their part to make this work.
