TTG Basketball IQ (I.e. Position Clinics)
The TTG Basketabll IQ (i.e Position Clinics) will run twice a month. Each session is one hour.
The cost of each session is $30.00 or $125.00 for six sessions.
The session will cover:
- Angles
- Space
- Timing
- Reading Defenses
- Running Offenses
- Creating Mismatches
- Reading Defenses
And much more.
The goal is to increase each participants knowledge on the position they are best at currently, while trying to teach an understanding of how all positions work together to create a successful individual and team.
The February 2026 dates are as follows:
- Monday, February 16: 5:30-6:30
- Wednesday, February 18 from 6:00-7:00
The June – August 2026 dates and times are as follows:
- Monday, June 1: 5:30-6:30 at Konnoak Hills Methodist (Winston-Salem)
- Monday, June 8: 5:00-6:00 at Konnoak Hill Methodist (Winston-Salem)
- Monday, June 15: 5:00-6:00 Konnoak Hills Methodist (Winston-Salme)
- Monday, June 22: 5:00-6:00
- Monday, June 29: 5:00-6:00
- Monday, July 27: 5:00-6:00

Session 1 – Monday, February 16, 2026 and Wednesday, February 18, 2026:
- Emphasized that each player must learn every position.
- Talked about S.A.T. = Space, Angles and Time.
- Worked on creating space on the wings using L-Cuts.
- Worked on down screens and V-Cuts (setting up screens) and then post players learning to seal.
- Worked on post footwork: dropsteps and calling for the ball.
- Point guards must communicate.
- Worked on high-low action with the post players.
- Talked to the point guards about pushing the ball up the floor and making an early pass instead of taking extra dribbles.
- During the scrimmage, tried to apply each concept during live work.
