The Winston-Salem Stealers Hall of Fame celebrates those at four different levels:

  1. GOLD: Level The player or coach who wore only the Stealers jersey their entire AAU / Club Career.
  2. :WHITE Level: The player who played three or more years with the Stealers, graduating from our program.
  3. BLACK Level: A team that achieved championship results in a national tournament.
  4. SILVER Level A volunteer who has helped make the Stealers better.

GOLD LEVEL

*CHANTE’ BLACK (1997-2003)*

  • Chante’ Black was our program’s first McDonald’s All-American Game Participant, first USA Basketball Invitee, our first WNBA 1st Round Draft Pick, and our first consensus top twenty ranked player nationally.  
  • Chante’ attended Duke University helping the Blue Devils reach the 2006 NCAA Championship Game in Boston.
  • Chante’ has played professionally overseas in multiple countries.
  • Chante’ is pictured below as a 12 year old, her first year with the Stealers.

     

WHITE LEVEL

BLACK LEVEL

*2022 Lyons/Scheier Team*

  • The 2022 Lyons/Scheier Team won the Run For The Roses Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky, the first championship victory for our program at that event.
  • The team members were Josie Tompkins, Katie Deal, Charley Chappell, Tate Chappell, Adelaide Jernigan, Isabella Ross, Ashara Spruill, Savannah Surratt, and Grace Harriman.
