About Us

The Winston-Salem Stealers Girls Basketball Program was founded in the Spring of 1996, with the first practices, scrimmages and games played in the fall of 1996. The Stealers have teams in the 3rd-12th grades.  The Winston-Salem Stealers are a non-profit 501 C3 organization.

From the Stealers, came the 292 Basketball Program in 2003.  The 292 Program was developed to help parents with players in the 7th-12th grades through the college recruiting process.  The 292 Program is an LLC.

In 2013, the Stealers adopted the Triad Trackers Adult Wheelchair Basketball Program.  The Trackers play in the Carolina’s Regional Wheelchair League consisting of teams from North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.  The Trackers are a 501 C3 Program.

In 2014, the Twin City Jazz Boys Basketball Program was added.  The goal is to have the Jazz program mirror the Stealers program.

Also in 2014, the Stealers were selected to be one of twelve pilot programs in the United States to help develop players under the USA Basketball Youth Developmental Initiative.  The Stealers are a certified USA Basketball Youth Development Program.

Information on all of our programs can be found on this web site.
