April – May Group Skills 2022
Coach Robinson will host group skills in April and May for the 3rd-6th grades and 7th-11th grades.
The idea behind the in-season group skills is to provide a supplement to the regular team practices that are held
Monday – Thursday at The Maddawg Center. The group skill sessions will last an hour and a half each and will focus strictly on skills / fundamentals to help each player improve their game away from team practices. Team practices are used to help the team get better by learning offensive and defensive plays. Learning to play and learning plays are two different things.
There will be twenty (20) spots allotted for each session and spots are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis once you have paid and registered through using the form below.
The cost is as follows: $5.00 per session for those in Stealers For Life (SFL) and $10.00 per session for those not in Stealers For Life. The reason for the charge for SFL participants is that some, in the past, will sign up for a similar program, then decide not to show leaving a spot available that could have been filled by another player wanting to participate. The group skills are only for current Winston-Salem Stealers, Teach The Game or CRC members.
The dates and times for the sessions are as follows:
- Friday, April 8: 4:30-6:00 for 3rd-6th grades; 6:00-7:30 for 7th-11th grades.
- Sunday, April 10: 1:00-2:30 for 3rd-6th grades; 2:30-4:00 for 7th-11th grades.
- Friday, April 15: 4:30-6:00 for 3rd-6th grades; 6:00-7:30 for 7th-11th grades.
- Friday, April 29: 4:30-6:00 for 3rd-6th grades; 6:00-7:30 for 7th-11th grades.
- Sunday, May 1: 1:00-2:30 for 3rd-6th grades; 2:30-4:00 for 7th-11th grades.
